Ouya Announces Partnership with Vevo Unveils Limited-Edition Console

Ouya has been on a roll in providing exciting news to its would-be users. After announcing that it will bring “Final Fantasy III” to the TV screen, the team behind the Android-powered video game console posted on its Kickstarter page that it has partnered with Vevo. This tie-up will provide Ouya owners to use their consoles to access Vevo’s wide array of music videos. And by wide, we mean over 50,000 HD-quality music videos, as well as “new, original programming from more than 11,000 artists.”

But the announcements just do not stop there, as Ouya is also preparing a special limited-edition console that is only available for its final week of the Kickstarter funding campaign. By pledging $ 140 (or more if you feel like it), you will get an Ouya cased in an exclusive, brown brushed metal finish. This console will come with a limited-edition controller, which comes with the same brown brushed metal finish.

The Ouya is expected too launch in March 2013, while those who have pledged at least $ 699 in its Kickstarter campaign will be getting their “developer special” consoles as early as December 2012.
